What is Kaleidoscope Days?
Kaleidoscope Days is a collection of poems for young children that describes the objects, places and moments that matter to you and your family. By sharing the details of our lives with each other, we not only celebrate difference, we work towards building anti-racist communities. We teach tolerance and appreciation, instead of superiority and power.
What is something that you use every day to cook? How do you make music? Where do you go to buy a mango? Pick an object, place, person, emotion, occasion - ANYTHING! - that matters to you and record your answer below. We will write a poem about the word you choose, and try to include as many of your entries as possible in our collection.
